Founded in 2000 as a “food choir,” with the goal of raising funds for local charities providing food for those in need, RSVP has expanded its philanthropic mission to include local charities of all kinds. RSVP donates 100% of concert proceeds to charities with whom they partner.
Many members of RSVP are professional musicians. This, and the innovative creativity of RSVP’s Artistic Director, Jennifer Reason, results in deeply inspiring performances.
RSVP believes in using the power of music to bring people together. All of our concert revenue goes to supporting local charities, and all our musicians volunteer their time! This allows us to support a diverse range of needs around our community, such as: hunger, homelessness, illiteracy, domestic violence, and many other causes.
“ I wanted to create a choir whose music would bring people together by highlighting the good things that are happening all around us. ”
“When attending an RSVP event, It is hard to say which is more moving: the beauty of the performance or the beauty of the cause.”
"RSVP is unlike any other group I know, in that they have managed to combine top notch musicianship with a passion for helping charities."
“The uplifting music brought a message of hope for the hopeless that was in full alignment with our work. The money raised will help us to expand our efforts to connect people who are homeless with desperately needed housing and services as well as to support those we are currently serving to break the cycle of homelessness forever. We could not be more grateful!”
