2010 Concert Season

RSVP will present 'Reflections' to kick off its tenth season of benefit concerts. We'll remember the best of what it has meant to support the community with our music and continue to lift our voices in support of those who have no voice in society. How often do you have a program that feeds everyone? Our audience comes away nourished and uplifted, our singers get to share their gifts and our sponsored charity is the recipient of money and goodwill! We hope to see you there!

2009 Concert Season

Kicking off their ninth season of benefit concerts,RSVP will be joined by the nationally acclaimed Sacramento Children's Chorus to present "A Choral Tapestry". Artistic Directors Julie Adams and Lynn Stevens once again combine forces to share a delightful mix of contemporary choral literature interwoven with the classics to please everyone from the youngest audience members to seasoned concert-goers. This concert series benefits WEAVE (Women Escaping a Violent Environment) Sacramento.
Founded in 1978, WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County. It is WEAVE's mission to bring an end to domestic violence and sexual assault in partnership with the community. Donations will be accepted for W.E.A.V.E at each concert. |

Jazz in Northern California is alive and well! Join RSVP and the Jim Martinez Quartet as they showcase great vocal and instrumental jazz in their concert, "In Time". The concert will feature great arrangements by local musicians Jim Martinez, Kerry Marsh and many others. In this second collaboration, the two groups will once again use their music to make lives better. All proceeds from "In Time" will support InAlliance, a local organization supporting adult persons with disabilities.
InAlliance is committed to providing services that contribute to the independence of adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury. Services focus on job placement, employment training and the facilitation of supports necessary for integrated employment and community living. Donations will be accepted for InAlliance at each concert. |
