'Village Songs" January 2006 Dear Julie & Choir, On behalf of the Board of Directors, our staff and especially the children we serve, thank you so much for selecting us as the benefit recipient of your wonderful concert "Village Songs". The concert was truly a magnificent and enjoyable performance by both the RSVP Choir and the Sacramento Children's Chorus. There don't seem to be enough words to express our gratitude for your generous efforts raising donations for our kids! The generosity of people like you make things happen! Please know you have truly made a difference in many children's lives. The Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento is a safety net for the area's abused and neglected children between the ages of 1 and 17. These children have been abused, molested, neglected, abandoned, or have familiies who are otherwise unable to provide for them. We are the only emergency shelter of its kind in Sacramento Count, in effect, we act as the "front door" of the child protective system, serving over 2,000 chldren annually.
