"Voices Without Borders" - June 2008 Dear Friends at Reconciliation Singers Voices of Peace, On behalf of Doctors Without Borders, I want to thank you for your generous work fundraising to support our organization. We are truly honored that you selected our organization as the beneficiary. Your contribution will enable us to respond immediately to emergencies as they arise by providing urgently needed medical care and humanitarian aid to thousands of vulnerable people around the world. Please extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of your benefit concert. Thank you for getting involved, and for helping to make a difference. As you know, MSF volunteers assist victims of armed conflicts, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, health care discrimination, and bear witness to their plight. They provide aid regardless of race, polictics, gender or religion, and operate with full independence. Right now, thousands of MSF volunteers are working around the world - in Congo, Sudan, Myanmar, and nearly 60 other countries around the world - delivering emergency medical care to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natrual and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
